Midera Food Processing (Nasdaq: MFP) announced on October 23, 2026, that it had acquired Phoenix Innovations, an Arkansas manufacturer of poultry and protein processing equipment. The acquisition is Midera’s first since becoming an independent publicly listed company and is intended to strengthen its poultry processing automation and full-line equipment capabilities.

Phoenix Innovations has an annual revenue run rate of approximately $25 million. That figure provides an indication of the acquired business’s operating scale; it is not a measure of the purchase price or a statement of revenue earned over a completed financial year.

The strategic focus is on expanding the equipment and automation Midera can offer poultry processors. If Phoenix Innovations’ equipment can be integrated effectively into Midera’s broader offering, the acquisition could help Midera address more processing requirements within a single project. For customers considering production-line investments, the practical value would depend on equipment compatibility and how well the combined offering supports their processing needs.

Midera links the transaction to market growth driven by demand for high-protein diets. The acquisition gives the company an additional equipment business through which to pursue that opportunity, although demand for protein does not translate automatically into equipment orders. The commercial effect will depend on processors’ investment decisions and the combined business’s ability to meet them.

As Midera’s first acquisition as an independent listed company, the deal offers an early indication of its expansion priorities: poultry automation and broader processing-line coverage. Subsequent company disclosures on product integration and customer projects should help show how that strategy translates into a more comprehensive equipment offering.
